Imagi Forest

Imagi Forest is Jordan's newest way to try to talk about coyotes without talking about them, too much anyway. (Imagi is short for imagination. We have been talking a lot about the difference between fantasy land and reality land. We need to be talking more about reality land and spending less time with our imaginary characters.) I do have to tell you a funny one that he came up with yesterday. He is trying to make a "comedy" called Animals of Garden of the Gods. Yesterday he came and told us that the coyote had bad breath because he had eaten a skunk. Yep....I guess that would do it!

Leah has had a pretty good week at school. She was excited to get a "new to us" lap-top yesterday. They had some old ones they were getting rid of where Mark works so he was able to bring one home. Leah's old laptop had quit working. I know at this point we are spoiled but it sure is nice for everyone to have their own computer, we couldn't do it if we didn't get old ones from Mark's job.

Everything else is running ok. Jordan and I went to get our haircut this week. Jordan was looking very Harry Potter and my hair needed some shaping. I'm still growing my hair out but can't decide what I really want to do with it. I like the mid-length hair ok but I just can't stand it in my face!!

Better run and get to my chores while Jordan is working independently. He is doing his second go round on a Math lesson and has 2 tests so a bit of his school day will be done on his own. I just have to keep checking on him to make sure he is on task.
