I'm enjoying a couple of minutes of peace and quiet. Mark and Jordan are out picking up a couple of things for dinner while Beth (Mark's mom) and Leah are out doing a little shopping. I wound up with another monster migraine so a little quiet is a blessing. If these headaches don't subside a little I'm going to go get checked out to make sure everything is ok. Yes, I've had my eyes checked (the first question you always get.) I just love all of these people who love to give you the good news by saying that they knew someone who had migraines and it turned out to be a blood clot in their brain. Most likely it's due to my lovely sinuses which seem to react to anything that seems to grows and blooms.
Leah did some driving on the interstate yesterday and she did really well. I told her it would be easier than city driving.
Mark and I are reading a good book called Common Sense by Glen Beck (one of the guys on Fox and on the radio). It also had a copy of the original Common Sense written by Thomas Payne. It's odd by in so many ways, common sense is not so common any more. The problem lies not in one party but in both. Reason says that you cannot spend more than you make, we know that on a personal level, why do we accept it from our government? If you can pick up a copy I highly recommend it.
