My friend Janet has been doing a daily blog so I thought I would check out this latest technological fad and see if it works out for me.
It is a quiet weekend so far. We went to the library this morning while Leah was doing Spanish. We picked up several movies and books. I picked up one of our favorite Ken Burns DVD's on the Civil War an old Fred Astaire movie, and Cars for Jordan.
Jordan's latest subject of interest is how swamps and how coal and oil are made. We picked up some books at the library on the subject and he spent an hour this afternoon trying to make a bog in the back yard (I am sure we will be knee deep in coal soon).
Leah turned 14 this week. We have spent a little of the birthday money from relatives but haven't found a whole lot that she really likes yet. I am sure she will have it all spent in no time, it is burning a hole in her pocket.
