Is it almost mid July already???

Ok, it's mid July and you think it would be warm here, and it has been but not necessarily so on the top of Pike's Peak, as my sister Laura and her husband soon found out. For those of you who are not aware, even if it is short's weather here in CS it can be darn cold up on top. We went up this Sunday and ran into a bit of weather....a sleety rain that turned into a bit of snow, yes in JULY!!

What else is new here? Hmmm.....let's just say that we need to start school the first of August. I think the kids are ready for routine. Leah is bored and is using her spare time to give mommy heck. Mark assures me that this will pass in time as he says he had trouble w/his temper at this age too. She is so much like Mark and I sometimes have trouble getting into her head but I am trying. Jordan is writing movie scripts, browsing the internet, and reading books on science (swamps, planets, how coal is made, hurricanes, blizzards, ect.). After all we have to find out how everything works. He has talked lately about leveling the neighborhood behind us and building what he calls Comfort Inn Green that includes a penthouse at the top for him to live in. Dispite all of his autism issues he does have a certain creative flair.
