Our First Broken Bone

We have our first official broken bone. Leah broke her wrist (actually the end of the ulna) in PE today. They were running backwards and she did the natural thing and tried to break her fall. She had to have outpatient surgery to put a pin in so the bone would grow back straight. The pin would not have been necessary if she were still growing but since she is probably at or close to the end of her growth they wanted to make sure it healed straight. I'll try to get a picture when she is up to it.
