Weekend

Last week went pretty good. Mark had a birthday last week. Mark and I went looking to see how much a new bed would be so we know how much to save back (I think our crummy bed is some of my back/headache trouble). We got our car back from the repair shop on Saturday!! Leah likes all of her classes at school. Jordan is getting used to the idea of school again. We had to say good-bye to Miss Michelle who has been with us as Jordan's therapist for the last several years. We had a meeting with Dr. B and Micha who will be Jordan's new therapy team. Neither Mark or I had responsibilities at church this weekend so we actually got to relax and do some stuff around home. I got to talk to 2 of my sisters this week. All in all, I had a pretty good week.

My headaches have been a little better but I am still having sinus trouble (unusual for this time of year). I had a headache today but wonder how much of it was due to a front that rolled through. I have another chiropractor's appointment tomorrow so I'll chat with him about how the week went.

Our budgeting process: We have been eating out 2x a month mostly just to get out. We have decided to cut that out and have some more special "eat in" meals which quite frankly taste better and have less processing done to them. We are planning on using the extra money to bump up our food budget and put towards debt reduction. One of my goals is to have a little chest freezer for the garage by November so we can put back stuff like cider, turkey, and meat and fruits when they go on sale.

Better go do some basic lesson planning for tomorrow so I know what to stick in the bag. (Jordan has a few things that he can mostly do independently while I'm at work, we save the rest for home.) On the agenda tomorrow, Jordan will meet Micha. Be praying that the transition process will be smooth.

The right bed does make all the difference. It has to make you go ahhh when you lay on it. I had a nice Simmons back care bed in TN that was great. I felt better in the mornings and it was easier to get up cause I slept through the night but I didn't get to bring it out here.
