The Naturalist

I took Jordan to visit with the naturalist doctor today. We are a little skeptical but in the end nothing she recommended will hurt him. She is changing his digestive enzyme to another type; gave us some amino acids; took him off olive leaf; and gave us some recipes for smoothies with lots of greens and fruits. She did some cranial massage to open up blood vessels (don't know how much stock I put in that). The weirdest thing was she put different types of supplements in his hand to see how he "reacted". That part seemed to be a bunch of bunk to me. As I said, we are skeptical and will see if any of this makes a difference. This is not medication so we are willing to give it a shot. Time will tell.

Today was my last day of work. I have mixed emotions but I should feel better once I get back into our routine. Honestly, Jordan's most productive school hours are in the morning and with me not working that should be easier to do leaving our afternoons free to run errands. I am also wondering if not working (the heavy lifting, being away from dust and constant clutter) will help with the migraines. To help with the "blues" that come with this kind of change I have been reciting my blessings and counting all of the things we were able to do and pay for during this time when I have been working. We didn't go into debt for anything and were able to do some things we needed and wanted to do, for that, I am grateful.
