This week is off to a better start. Mark invited our worship leader Andy and his family over for dinner last night. We had a really great time. I can't remember the last time I laughed so much. We made our pork carnita wraps and for desert we had one of those Marie Callendar Razzleberry Pies (razzleberry is blackberry and raspberry) and ice-cream. The "B" family is British so it was kind of neat to get a peek into another culture. Leah picks up accents very quickly so within a few minutes she also had a bit of a British accent. We'll see if she is speaking American again by the end of today.
We're still not sure how Jordan is doing with the nautralistic stuff. I haven't seen loads of changes but he has seemed slightly more verbal (then again he's had verbal leaps before). He has had a few more behavior "ticks". The gas issue is still there. I don't know how long to give this process. I'm willing to give it the 4 visits or so that the naturalist recommended then re-evaluate.
Leah is taking her state required standardized tests this week called the CSAP's. This will be the last year she is required to take these. Next year she will take the ACT and her senior year she isn't required to do any standardized testing. The thing that bugs us is that she has to miss her college classes this week to take these stupid things. (Hello, if she is taking college courses and making good grades, she is obviously doing fine.)
Better go check on the schoolwork and see if Jordan is done with his Math yet. Have a great day!
