My Bible study this week is focusing on the tongue and its power. Sometimes it's hard for me to know weather to hold my tongue or let it fly. I am reminded of the character Thumper in the move Bambi who says, "If you can't say nothing nice, then don't say nothing at all." Does my silence also speak louder than a thousand words or does it imply agreement? I want my words to bring healing, encouragement, peace, joy, and glory to God. This is my prayer-Psalm 19:14 May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.
Everything else is going ok here. Jordan is back on schedule with school. Leah is done with midterms but is concerned about a couple of her classes, she didn't do as well as she wanted to on a couple of the tests. Mark is done with Godspell performances (I'll post a picture when we get one) but is busy with work stuff this week. Hopefully we can slow down a little before the holiday season hits.
Whoops! I didn't realize how late it was getting. I'd better go and get the dishwasher loaded before bedtime. Have a great evening!
