July...So Far

It's been a crazy couple of weeks but things are finally settling down to normal for the Bye household. Our friends the Butlers came to see us for the week of the 4th of July. Here we all are at Garden of the Gods.

Yes, we managed to sleep 11 people in our house believe it or not. As Leah said, "It was not as crowded as I thought it would be." Janet took Leah's senior pictures. We went to: the Denver Zoo; the fireworks; the Sky Sox game; bowling; Pikes Peak; and Garden of the Gods. Everybody had a great time but I think we were all tired by the end of the week.

We are settling down to normal around here. I am catching up on all of my "well adult" yearly physical stuff. My bone density scan went well and I have gained some bone in my spine but lost a little in my hip. They are having me have my vitamin D checked to make sure my body can absorb all of the calcium I can throw at it. Leah reminded me that I need to go outside more. I know she is right but I have never been much of an outdoors girl. I still need to do the "good stuff"-an appointment with the masher smasher and the local vampire complete the yearly physical process.

Some tidbits: No news yet on a job for Leah. Jordan has already started asking when I am going to "retire from teaching" (better than his other idea of getting Mark to divorce me so he can go live with Daddy in Vegas). Mark is back to being crazy busy at work. They had a new guy start this week. The A/C has been giving them fits and that is critical to the working of computers. Now I guess I should figure out a list of some of those things I need to get accomplished before school starts. You all have a great week.
