Yes! Summer has officially arrived at the Bye's house. Jordan and I finished school up on Thursday last week. Leah has graduation this Friday so I have been trying to get the house cleaned for Grandma Beth's visit. We haven't gotten around to really planning a party and the graduation announcements are sitting on my desk (Mark is trying to set something up on the computer so they can easily be printed).
So now to planning the rest of summer. We have vacation, orientation, and Leah to move (probably either July or August depending on her job situation). Leah is going to try to transfer to the store in Lawrence but will be looking for something that hopefully pays a little better. We figure the earlier she starts the process the more likely she will be of getting something she wants. The first step in the process was getting her a car. She got one last week, it's a 10yr old Ford Focus, with a lot of miles. The owner of the car had been driving from Pueblo to Denver for school so it has a lot of highway miles. The car is green so we call it Kermit (because it's not easy being green).
In the meantime it is time to start the process of guardianship and all that entails for Jordan. I dread this but know it must be done. I'm just not sure what I want the future to look like for him (as well as his parents).
For the moment I am trying to think about all of the stuff we need to do to get Leah ready to go while trying to get myself healthy. Looking back over our school records I have been dealing with this issue of the tingling thing all school year. I am coming to believe that it has something to do with stress and I just need a little time to rest, relax, and pull myself together. Hopefully by the time we start school next year I will once again be healthy.
Better get going for now and see if I can find the top of my desk!
