Catching Up

I feel like I've been out of it for so long it's hard to know where to pick back up.

Jordan and I are about to finish our 4th grade Easy Grammar and the 5th grade health unit for Science. He and I are both anxious to get into the new books but we still probably have another week or so of review and then tests before we go on to the new material. We are also plodding through the last 30 or so lessons in our current Math book. Since Jordan is homeschooled year round we don't really pay a lot of attention to having a book done by x date we just go on to the next book when we are done.

Leah is thinking about going on a mission trip during Spring Break (I think here in the states). Now, she just has to figure out how to pay for it. She is doing great in school and likes her classes. Mark and Leah went to the opera in Denver last week and had a great time. I'm glad that they got to share the experience together.

We are re-financing the house and are planning on using the surplus to pay down on consumer debt. I get excited when I think about that day somewhere in the future when we are debt free. In the meantime we will keep plugging along and always (debt free or not) remember to be grateful for every good gift that comes from the hand of God.

I think I'll go and curl up with a good book for the evening. Good night.
