Winter Scene

We had some fog/mist kind of stuff that rolled through and froze on the trees last night. This kind of thing happens a few times a year, but I think it is SO pretty. It looks kind of like that Christmas flocking stuff has been put on the trees. I especially like the contrast of the white on the trees against the blue gray sky.

Mark and Leah had a good time at the opera on Thursday. They weren't able to get any pictures (rats). Leah was worn out from the whole thing and slept most of the day yesterday (ah the joys of being a teenager).
I am slowly starting to feel somewhat better. At this point I am kind of dealing with a mostly allergy event, stuffy runny nose, the whole thing. I have been coughing pretty hard but I figure that means that this thing is mostly on the way out. I think when I have my yearly doctors appointment in the next couple of months I am going to ask about the benefits/risks of the 1x year allergy shots. I have heard of a couple of people who have had success with it so I am curious. It does seems that people who have allergies are more prone to catching other things. I think it is because your immune system is already worn down from just fighting stuff off that is floating around in the air.
