The Story Continues

Jordan's story about the bald eagle is getting some more details. He now has a name: Oklahoma, a good name for a bald eagle I think. Some where along the line Jordan decided that Oklahoma is Jewish. Oklahoma has a brother and sister but for now I think their names are Brother and Sister.


Did I mention that we got a piano? Some friends gave us an electronic piano (free). I went and got the kids some beginner books (different levels, Leah has played an instrument before) and they are both beginning to play. For Leah, playing is it's own reward, we are trying to make it as enjoyable and stress free for Jordan as we can. I don't know for sure but I have always had a gut feeling that music would wire something into his brain. (Our new trampoline does seem to be helping burn off some of that excess energy.) Mark observed today that when Jordan is concentrating on playing the piano that he is not obsessing about his movie characters (eagle and red robin at the moment).
