Yesterday Leah went on a field-trip with her Physics class this weekend so they could study the "physics" of roller-coasters. She had a good time hanging out with her friends and she saw some people she knew from middle school there too. She was really tired last night and fell asleep before she got her contacts out (she wasn't too pleased that I woke her up to make sure they got out).
While Leah on her field-trip Mark, Jordan, and I went to see the new Star Trek movie. It was faithful enough to the original but updated. I am anxious to see where they will take this because it is definitely set up for sequels.
My friend Shannon and I went out for a little while this afternoon and did some clothes shopping for my new job. Of course nothing that fit was on sale but I was in desperate need of something that I could wear for work and maybe to church. I wound up getting a pair of crop pants and 3 dressy casual shirts. On the bright side, some of my shorts that were a little snug last year fit me much better this year! Hopefully I have enough stuff to get the summer started and I can pick up some pieces here and there as I find good deals. I'll have to take Shannon shopping again some time, shopping is always more fun when you go with a friend!
