There is light at the end of the tunnel, Jordan is almost done with school for this year. We already have all of our required hours in. I am trying to find a good stopping point in all of our books to so we don't have a lot of catching up and re-teaching what we have learned. My goal for this year was to finish his current Math book, which we did today. Since I homeschool him basically all year we just pick up where we left off so there is no hard "You must be finished with... (subject) for 7th grade." I also need to finish his current book that we are reading, reading comprehension is hard enough without taking large breaks. I worry sometimes about his evaluations but in his case the goal is continual progress and I definitely feel we meet that standard. (He got an A+ on his Science and History test today, Math was a 78% but it was passing...barely. I require 76% to pass.)
Leah is having a sleepover this weekend for her birthday. I wish I could go ahead and get a firm head-count from her so I know what I need to buy. She really hates to use the telephone but kind of needs to for stuff like this.
My job is going fine and I am getting more comfortable with it all the time. This week is VBS so things have been a little hectic. Silly stuff really but it is easier to do your job when everything is where it is supposed to be.
Family stuff: My grandfather is starting to decline rapidly. I hear from my family that he is getting really cranky and aggressive. This end of life stuff is expected but is not always pleasant. He is 85 and has lived a full life but it is sad none the less. Please keep my family in your prayers. We are due visit there in the next few weeks and I am praying that Grandpa won't say anything that will upset my kids. Leah I think has a grasp of the situation but I'm not sure how much Jordan can understand.

So do you just homeschool Jordon or Leah too? I am praying about homeschooling my children. Not this year but possible the next. Like I said just praying right now. But feel God leading me in that direction. If I do plan too, I may have A LOT of questions in the future!
Yeah it is sad what is going on with grandpa. Hopefully his meds will start kicking in before you get there. Sorry we havent been on here in a while. We are trying to start up a business. You know I was thinking earlier how nice it was to be young and oblivious to anything going on, no cares at all.
