Well some would say no news is good news. Some would say that times like these develop patience and character. I am saying that we are pitching our tent and camping out in this season of change. I don't know what it all means but I am sure that God is in it working things behind the scenes and in our hearts. No, we haven't heard anything definite on Mark's job. They are working on some projects and this is a really busy time for him. Be praying for his strength and for clarity of thought. He likes his job and is learning some new skills as he takes on more responsibility. As people we like to live a settled life but is that always the best place for us (something I'm thinking through)? I told him that I kind of feel like Abraham. We don't know what's happening or where we are going but God will tell us when we get there (even if that is just in the emotional sense).
Leah is going to be setting up her fall schedule soon. It will be nice to have that out of the way. She is going to see if she has enough funds to take a summer class. She is still talking about a summer job but has only applied for one thing. We are going to buy her the Math U See Geometry so she can get more comfortable with Geometry before she has to take her ACT. I think we will buy some ACT test prep material this summer too so she can start figuring out what she needs to hit. Everybody has to play to their strength when it comes to scholarships and Leah's is academic so we want her to get the best score she can.
We are back to the first type of enzymes that the naturalist recommended for Jordan. We are giving him 2 a meal and it seems to be working fairly well. Nothing has been perfect but this is the best of the 3 we have tried. He did do something kind of interesting the other day, he kind of gently pushed Mark aside and told him to, "Leave him alone". He was looking for something in the bookshelf and didn't want any help.
