Leah heated up some leftovers for Jordan last night. Later after Mark came home and got settled in, he grilled us up some country ribs. Jordan asked if he could have his dinner "reprised". (Reprise-again, repeat, do-over.) Don't know where he picked that word up, it wasn't from our reading for school.
Speaking of reprising, I've decided to get back on Weight Watchers online for a couple of months and get these last 10-15 pounds off. I'm technically within the healthy range for my height but at the upper end but, I have such a small frame that my body really hates just a few extra pounds. I figured I'd better get back at it and get it under control before the holidays hit and I had another 5 or so to loose. All of this is more about how I feel. I did pretty good my first week and lost 2.5 pounds. Leah is afraid I'm eating like a rabbit and that it's unsustainable. I've got a news-flash for her, what I was doing wasn't sustainable either. Last night, for example, I had been good all week and so I splurged on 60z. of those country ribs and I thouroughly enjoyed them. I think I have several of my roadblocks figured out already. 1)Breads and pastas, I just eat too much of them. 2) Portion control, almost everyone I know struggles with that to some degree or another. 3)Exercise. I am largely sedintary and need to find more ways to get moving. That is a little easier as I take the weight off. If all goes well, I should be down to where I need to be within a couple of months and should head into the holiday season with good habits in place.
Speaking of moving, I'd better get on to the rest of my day. The house doesn't clean itself unfortunately. Have a great weekend!
