Midweek Update

I had a few minutes while Jordan is doing therapy with Miss Micha so I thought I would update. Allergy season is in full bloom for all of us, even Mark and Leah. I'm trying to get Leah feeling better before she heads up to Winter Camp with the church this weekend. With all of the sleep I know she will not get I would hate for her to get really sick.

Leah is off with Mark right now to go and pay her ticket. If you go to the court house you at least have a chance to get your ticket reduced and have a reduced fine and lower points on your license. This has been a learning experience for her, one I'm hoping we don't have to repeat.

Mark is busy this week helping with a roll-out of a new phone system for some of the organization. It's been some long hours for both he and Matt C.

Jordan and I are doing ok. I think we could both use a beak from school but I am anxious to keep on tack so we can enjoy our summer. I'm going to need to order some new stuff before long for History because we are about to finish our book and I'll probably order Science while I'm at it. Given how we do school I can spread out my purchases a bit.

How being gluten-free diet is going: I've not done it 100% but I am mostly there. I'm still finding breakfast to be the most difficult meal to deal with as I really don't like breakfast food much anyway. I'm still having headaches (this is my major allergy season) though I haven't had a severe one in a few weeks. I have started noticing that when I have had non-GF bread I have had a lot of air in my tummy. Time will tell if the diet is helping. Mark made an AWESOME beef stew last night based of of the Beouf Bourguignon recipe thickened with potato starch to make it GF so Jordan and I could have it.

That's all for now, I'll chat at you later.
