Inch by Inch

I've been working on my exercise program to help with stress and just to try to keep this 40 something body in some kind of shape.  Since I haven't lost any weight, I decided to try my friend Lynette's suggestion and take some measurements.  The last time I did my measurements was in 2010 but since my activity level hasn't changed that drastically I thought it would  be a fairly accurate baseline.  I have lost an inch in my waist (yahoo, one of my problem areas) and a half inch in my hip (I didn't need to loose ANYTHING there).  Everything else has stayed pretty much the same.  I figure doing the Total Gym will help towards doing some of that weight bearing stuff I need to do to make my bones stronger.  I'm still working out some doing yoga and the treadmill.  For some reason, doing yoga loosens up my back enough to make the treadmill more comfortable so I do those two in combination.

Report from the neurologist: I do not have a pinched nerve.  We are not sure why I have numbness and tingling...yet.  He took me off of one of my meds that wasn't helping anyway.  I am supposed to see him again in a couple of months. 

We are supposed get a blizzard this evening but Jordan isn't wound up enough for me to believe that yet.  His forecasts are usually pretty good.
