A cooler day

Today we are only supposed to get a little above 70 but I am beginning to have my doubts since it is almost noon and is currently only 66. Why is it that the first day it is cool after being warmer I am always bone cold? I am sure there is some scientific explanation. I knew we were in for a weather change anyway, my barometer boy is bouncing off the walls and I had a major headache yesterday and still have a minor one today. I guess in some ways it maybe helps me understand him.

Leah got her science kit stuff yesterday- it was really cool. I found this company called Home Science Tools that cater to the homeschool market. You wouldn't believe all the cool stuff they sell from microscopes, to magnets, to rock samples, to things to disect (yuck!!!). I should have ordered a magnifying glass that I need for some experiments I am doing with Jordan but I forgot so I guess I will need to pick that up locally.

I better get some more school stuff done with Jordan. I have to give him several breaks on days like this but the goal is to get our hours in, one way or the other. Maybe I can get some more math Bingo in. (Jordan never memorized his easy addition and subtraction facts but instead does this thing where he counts in pairs moving his fingers back and forth. It's odd but it has served him ok, it's just too slow. He needs to rattle those off like he does multiplication facts.)
