I thought I would take a quick break and blog while Jordan is unloading the dishwasher. Today is one of those "weather days" for Jordan (it has been spitting snow on and off throughout the morning).
Not much new is going on here. We are looking forward to Thanksgiving next week. We will be going over to our friends the Jordahl's for the meal that day. I think we may try out a new recipe before we go this week to see if it might be something we would like to take. We are always on the lookout for a new recipe-it breaks up boredom factor of meal planning.
Speaking of meal planning I spent Monday re-organizing our family recipe book. It sounds kind of obsessive but we put the recipes we like in protective sleeves and put them in a binder with categories labeled. It makes things easier to find, instead of having cards and papers and things all over everywhere, they are in one place. Also if you get something on your sheet, you just wipe it off instead of having to find the recipe again and re-print it. If I ever do have to re-print: I have my recipes saved as Word documents on my computer (also this makes them easier to change to fit our family's tastes)!!!
I guess I had better get back to work. Tigger down there is bouncing on his exercise ball so I guess that means he is done unloading the dishwasher.
