Happy Valentines Day!

Today we shared cards, candy (yum!), and the Valentines Fairy came and straigtened up the kitchen and living room for me this morning. We tend not to go "all out" for Valentines around here but it is a good opprotunity just to let your family know that you love and appreciate them. My favorite of the cards was one I bought for Mark that had Snoopy and Woodstock on it. The card had Snoopy on the front saying, "In case you don't know how I feel....I love you more than birds can say". Woodstock was on the inside flying around holding those little candies that have messages on them, it was too cute!

Just a little "pat on the back" for my grandparents: I think it is so cool that they still send the kids cards for Valentines and things like that. It is so cool for kids to get just a little something in the mail of their very own. Grandpa and Grandma usually send along a little money in the card, just enough for them to buy just a little bit of candy or something. You know, it's not the big things that kids tend to remember, it's these little things that make long distance grandparenting go a long way. I still rembember those those little pads of paper and pens that Grandpa brought home from the office, that and a couple of packages of gum just made my Christmas as a kid.

Jordan got his glasses today so hopefully school work will go a little easier for him.

We sent Leah's application package off for the high school we would like for her to attend, so now I guess we just wait and see what happens.

Other than that, well lets just say it's been a bit of a stressful week but the end of the week is in sight. I know I tend to stress when I should just rembember that God has guided our every footstep. He will not fail us....my job is to pray and to trust. It's hard to remember sometimes when you are caught up in the moment.
