We have reached the end of our first week of school. Leah is loving her new school and is making new friends. Everybody is still getting to know one another and figure out where they "fit in". We are still working on our transportation issues and trying to figure out how to make it work out to every one's advantage. Jordan and I are getting back in the groove and are developing a schedule of sorts. We have moved his therapy time to the afternoon which I like because it allows us to have a consistent schedule.
Healthy Living: We have been on a veggie kick since we found our hummus recipe. Mark, Leah, and I have all lost about 3 pounds. Mark has been riding his bike to work as weather permits and he has found a route that works with his current fitness level. It's mostly a downhill ride to work but coming home is a more upward trek. Leah is riding her bike more often. As long as she keeps a log, she can count it towards the hours she needs for Phys Ed credit. I am on the Nordic Track Ski machine. I would like to push it a little harder, which my muscles enjoy, but my joints are in rebellion and I am needing to take it slowly.
A little prayer request: I have been having issues with my left ear for a couple of months now. I have been to our primary care doctor several times but it still hasn't cleared up. Next week I am going to see an ENT doctor and see if they can't straighten me out.
Have a great weekend!
