Wednesday Evening

Jordan is downstairs watching National Treasure for the thousandth time so I thought I'd catch up a bit. Miss Micha and I are working with Jordan lately on explaining why he thinks things. This morning he woke up grinchy so I asked him how he felt and he said he was "weathery". (Yes, we have our own words to describe things like grinchy and weathery.) I asked him how weathery felt and he said, "frustrated". Inch by inch I think we are getting somewhere.

Miss Leah started class this week. She thinks that she is going to like her Martial Arts and Cooking classes. Today was the first day of "real" class so she came home a bit pooped. She's never been that physical so it will take a while to get into shape. If you remember, the last time she had a phys. ed. class she broke her arm and didn't get a whole semester's work in. The cooking class is one of those intro classes that people on a culinary degree track take (she is taking it for fun because she likes to cook). I'm hoping she comes home with some neat new ideas. At our house we are always up for trying something new to eat.

Sounds like Leah is home from her small group so I'd better scoot. Have a great evening.
