Leah had her food class today and made a compound butter with orange and cherry. If I'm going to try it I need to make a gluten free bread, Jordan would probably like the idea for a change of pace anyway. She also had karate today which is "awesome" in her words. She's thinking about maybe taking Karate II over the summer if it is offered so she could get her gym credits out of the way.

Jordan is still in major grinch butt mode but I'm coping a little better today. Looks like we are in for several days of clear weather so I'm hoping he will chill a bit. He's also back to eating like a pig, I wonder if he isn't getting ready to grow a little. He's certainly not sleeping any more than usual. I guess someone needs to be in charge of waking the birds. Someday, hopefully sooner rather than later, we will be able to afford those good black-out blinds like we have in our room for the kids rooms.

I still don't know anything more about the car. I am anxiously awaiting to hear what all is damaged and when they expect to have it done. Did I mention that I HATE the rental car? On top of not liking the car itself they have overloaded the thing with freshener and every time I get in my head hurts. When I turn it in I may mention something to them about it, there are lots of people like me who have fragrance sensitivities.

In lieu of a vacation (which is totally out of the question for now) I decided to escape it all by buying myself a new DVD. I bought Secretariat, a movie which I saw at the theatre and loved!

A friend of mine was talking about getting a new phone. Ok, I have to admit it, I have come to really love my iPhone. We purchased last generation and so we didn't pay for the price of a new phone. I got the most basic of data plans, I spend most of my time at home or places where there is free wi-fi anyway. We have downloaded some cool free stuff like some e-books, games-good for when you are waiting for appointments and things (helps entertain Jordan), and I LOVE the shared calendar feature. We have people going all directions these days and it is good to be able to sync my phone with my home computer which has all of my appointments on it.
