The Countdown

You can tell it's getting close to the end of the school year because I just HAD TO KNOW today how many more days/hours we were required to do before the end of the year. We have completed 145 of the 172 days required and since I multiply out the hours too we have completed 658 hours. We will of course do more than the required number of hours because our program is mostly a year round program. This year I'm going to keep Jordan working until his evaluation (required at the end of year 9) is completed sometime in mid-June. I want to keep those brain cells firing until so he will do well. I don't know why but I am always anxious to hear that he has done well. Given the autism diagnosis he isn't expected to perform on grade level but I want him to do well and to go as far as his God given abilities will take him.
