We got a couple of big items crossed off of the "to do" list this week. First, the car's vacuum tube was replaced this morning. The care isn't shaking at idle any more (good for Momma's tummy) and the brakes are working much better. We will need to have the front brakes and rotors replaced this summer but one thing at a time.
Leah took her ACT yesterday. She felt really good about the Reading and English sections, not so hot about the Math and Science. She wants to re-take it but isn't sure weather to do it in June or September. We will be anxiously awaiting word on her scores.
So many friends and family are struggling right now. I know of no less than 3, off the top of my head, dealing with cancer. Several others are struggling financially. One of my good friends is struggling with kid problems. One lady I know posted on FB yesterday that her parents in Alabama had lot their house in a tornado. An then, there are those dealing with flooding. I'm kind of starting to wonder what the heck is going on.
Despite all of our little $300ish expenses we are doing ok. I'm counting my blessings and looking for where God wants me to make a difference (there's no shortage of need).
