I hate getting Jordan back into routine into a break. I guess it's kind of like when Mark takes a vacation from work, yeah you enjoy the time off, but you know you are going to pay for it when you get back. Lot's of grinching, biting on things, trying to get out of work, and obsessive behaviors going on here. Leah will be back in school next week so that should help and she is already back to almost what she was doing before Christmas on her work hours (about 35 hours a week).
We had the recipe Mark is working on for the General Tso's again last night. A lot of times when he is trying to perfect a recipe we will have it once or twice a week for a couple of weeks in a row (not complaining, we love Chinese). We have decided that for this recipe we are going to have just pea pods and carrots for our veggies. The spicing and sugar levels are still in flux but I think he got it pretty close to the final recipe last night. He also added a bit of peanut butter to the recipe last night and we all thought it was a great addition. If we can come up with a few really great Chinese recipes that will reduce our desire to eat out even further. Most Chinese type meals can be made quickly if you have the rice made ahead of time, we use brown rice so it takes longer.
Time to get to my day I guess. School, making appointments, laundry, blah-blah-blah all ahead of me today. Miss Micha is back on her regular schedule for therapy times today-YES!!
