Friday Stuff

It just seems like this week has gone on forever. Nothing much has been going on, it just seems like the week was like 2 weeks long.

Jordan did therapy today with another one of Ms. Michelle's clients. It's good for the boys to spend time together even though they don't have a lot of similar interests. They played some games and went outside and threw balls.

Leah is feeling much better but I think is getting a major case of cabin fever. I think we are all going to Exceptional Kids tomorrow morning. (Leah helps out and Jordan gets to some fun stuff with other kids like him.) Leah is already planning for Winter Camp which isn't till March but she wanted to get a head start on her planning. It will be nice for her to get out with some other kids her own age and have fun. While she has been stuck at home this week she has worked ahead some on school. She is asking when we can take out next trip to the library so she can pick up another carload of books.

I have signed Leah up for a theatre class this winter/spring done by a lady we know at church. She isn't sure she will like it but I would like her to do this one session and see how she feels about it after that. We don't always know what we will like or not like so it is important to try new things. If nothing else comes of it, it is always good to work on public speaking/presentation types of skills.

Jordan and I are almost finished reading Despereaux finally!!! We have been reading this book since August and I think we will both be glad to be finished. I need to start hunting another book that has companion worksheet/activity book. I would like for it to be interesting for both of us but I prefer that he doesn't take us 4 1/2 months to read but given his reading comprehension level maybe I am asking for too much.
