Changing Seasons

We are in that time of year where it is summer one day and winter a few days later. Today it is 80 degrees, we are wearing shorts, and have the windows open. I noticed the forecast for Thursday which is calling for rain and about 40 which could mean snow depending on elevation.
Some of the leaves are turning a golden yellow which is kind of pretty but I am afraid that we won't get much color this year....hoping I'm wrong.

We are trying a new recipe today, a mushroom frittata. I've never had a frittata before so this will be an adventure. Sometimes how we choose new recipes from our Cooking Light magazine is..."Yeah, we have all of the ingredients for that".

I can't believe it's almost October. Leah's got tickets to the Air Force game for her school's homecoming. Mark is attending a worship arts at our church this month. Leah will have a couple of days off for teacher conferences but will be having one of her teeth filled during that time. I don't know that Jordan and I have anything exciting planned.

Have a great week everybody!

Yeah, we are going to be 78 today then tomorrows high is suppose to be around 42. Not sure I'm ready for the snow even though we are going to try cross country skiing.
