Day 2: Kentucky Horse Park

Day 2 was kind of long for all concerned. Work called with a problem computer Mark had to fix so the kids and I went to Kentucky Horse Park. I thought it was kind of neat but it really didn't seem to enjoy it much. After a couple of hours Leah called Mark to see if he could take a break and come and get us. Before we got there, I was able to shoot some really pretty pictures of the kids, Leah in particular. Great picture of Leah, Jordan of course is not looking at the camera.
Jordan managed a pleasant smile but not while he was looking at the camera.
I happened to catch him mid phrase so we have something resembling a smile.
A good picture of Leah looking off towards the side.
Some horses they have on the grounds.
This one is my favorite!!!!
Jordan at least looking at the camera and Leah is caught mid giggle.
One of the statues on the grounds commemorating some famous horse, of course with cranky kids to deal with, I don't have any idea which horse it was.

The rest of the day was spent at Pannera Bread where Mark had free wireless Internet access and we could scrounge up some snacks. The people there were most helpful including helping me find menu items that Jordan could at least snack on.
The evening was spent driving in the dark through West Virginia. It was really foggy in spots but we made it it our hotel in Clarksburg, West Virginia safe and sound somewhere around midnight.
