Just a couple of pictures from a pretty rest-stop in West Virginia.
One of the things I was hoping to see on this trip were the fall leaves turning. We didn't get to see a whole lot of that since it wasn't yet time in most areas or it had just been too dry this summer for the color to be at it's peek but there were a few spots where we did see the beginnings of the changing of the leaves.
I don't know why but this struck me as funny. It was the first time I had seem a sign for a pet rest....what a good idea! Not being a pet person I don't really appreciate stepping in dog poo when I get out to stretch my legs.
