Today was just an ordinary day. Mark got our van back from the shop (the repair after the fender bender a couple of months ago) and after 2x the paint color is still not right. He is going to take it into our dealership and have them verify it isn't right and then take it up with the company of the guy who bumped us. The whole thing is annoying but that's life so just get on with it.
Leah had play practice this evening and she is improving. Lynn (the director) said that she is doing great remembering her lines and she is projecting her voice a bit better.
Jordan has spent the last 2 days working on a coyote musical. I'll publish the musical when it is completed. It's interesting to say the least.
Mark is going to be taking his next test for his MCSE in the next couple of weeks. Be in prayer for him as he prepares.
As for me, teacher mommy, I am doing ok. I am looking into material for next school year for Jordan, which I actually enjoy.
I am also trying to figure out what to read for our next chapter book. Reading comprehension is still such a struggle for Jordan. If questions are fill in the blank or matching he does ok, essay questions are a no-go, he just doesn't get it. So the key is to try to find things that interest him and make him want to stay engaged with the reading. We read a short book today on Wayne Gretzky (the famous hockey player). He liked it ok but it started getting windy so he had a hard time staying on task. I don't know what it is about the wind but when it blows, Jordan just has a hard time keeping himself under control and keeping focused (maybe some day he can explain it to me). In the mean time, I guess we will just keep on reading and hope that it is all sinking in there somewhere.
