Science States the Obvious

I saw something on tv the other day that just makes you want to say, "duh", who gets paid for this stuff? I guess scientists have predicted that California has an almost 100% chance of having a major earthquake (greater than a 6.5 or 6.7, somewhere in that range) in the next 30 years. Hello, has it escaped anyone's notice that they are living on major earthquake fault line? Earthquakes in California, who would have guessed it? It's about like saying there is likely to be a killer tornado in Kansas this year!
