Homemade Bread

A slice of everyday life, if you will pardon the pun. We are starting to make our own bread a little more often. I have started to wonder how good the breads that we buy at the store can be for you when they don't get moldy after 2 weeks. Frankly, I am starting to feel overly "preserved". Besides, there's not too much that can beat the smell of fresh baked bread!

Left, the bread Mark made for the rest the family (fresh from the oven). Right, the bread I made for Jordan in the bread maker. I do wish the bread maker browned the bread on top, I just think it would look nicer. Oh well, I guess if it's something he can and will eat that's all that's really important.
