This weekend has been a fairly quiet one. On Friday night Mark and Leah went to a concert at church. Someone at work had given Mark a gift certificate so on Saturday, Mark and I had a lunch date at On the Border. We did our regular weekend activities of church and our small group at Chris and Amy's house. Other than that, Mark spent the weekend studying, I watched some movies from the library, and the kids did some stuff on the computer.
Speaking of movies-We got the new version of Pride and Prejudice (the one with Keira Knightley) from the library. We loved the movie! (So much so that I went out and bought it, Best Buy and Wal-Mart had it for under $10 in the WS version.) It was witty, had no sex, no violence, and only one or two little swear word (ie. Bingley says he has been an ass). It was a really well done love story based on the classic novel...which lead Leah to wonder what the book is like...we'll be getting that from the library as well. I would suggest that if you see the movie you put on the sub-titles in order to catch some of the dialogue.
That's all for now, I'm off to do exciting stuff like the laundry.
