Labor Day Weekend

We had a nice Labor Day Weekend. On Saturday morning, we got up early and headed out to the Balloon Classic. Here are some of our shots from this year:
A panoramic shot over the lake with the mountains in the background.
Here is a shot with the kids and I. Jordan is doing his "grinch" smile.
Sometimes I like these un-posed shots where people just look natural.
One of the balloons overhead.
It's me!
Mark (who was our primary photographer for the day) thought it would be neat to get a shot of our shadows.
Another pretty shot with the balloons over the lake.
I liked that balloon on the right that looked like it had a sun rising/setting.
Balloons in various states of being inflated and lifting off.
Here is a patriotic colored one.
This is the Arky balloon. We got to see them touch down in a parking lot near us and start the deflation process.
Getting a good picture of Jordan is rare so I thought I'd stick this one in.
I took this one with the balloons all bunched together.
Isn't it neat to see the reflections in the water?
One of the balloons didn't get to go up, they were having problems with their fuel line. Jordan was interested in the basket and they let him get in. I thought that was really nice of them.
On Monday, we got to go to the Rockies game. Some friends of ours had tickets but they were too sunburned from other weekend activities so they gave us their tickets. We didn't get there too early (I had a headache that morning) but we got there in time to see the last 4 innings or so. The Rockies won 4-0! I guess from what I heard from my friend that the team is coming on strong here at the end of the season.
We had really great seats.
Jordan and Mark.
Mark enjoying the game.
And here, last but certainly not least, is a picture of Leah. Smile, or I'm going to keep shooting until I get a good picture.
I hope you all had a nice long holiday weekend.
