I guess I knew something was coming when I woke up this morning with a headache. This afternoon we must have had one of those straight-line winds or something because there was no weather alert but things were sure blowing around, leaves blowing around like snow. Our big gas grill in the back yard was moved several feet into what was our basil planting (before the cold got it a week or so ago). The kids didn't seem overly fussed and I had to INSIST that they move to the downstairs hall. More than anything I was worried that if the wind was strong enough to move the grill, what else was it going to move? Ah well, all is well that ends well. I guess there is a possibility of snow tonight, my head will probably let me know first thing in the morning before my feet hit the floor.
Things are fairly normal otherwise around here. We are starting to look forward to the holidays. The holidays already??? Yes, it is my favorite time of year so I probably "rush" the season a little. I would probably drag my Christmas movies out in October if my family wouldn't riot. Mark is getting to where he will usually let me put up the tree in November so he isn't still looking at it during Valentines, I like to be tired of it before it comes down.
