Tuesday

Today is the Tuesday after Columbus Day. Mark had yesterday off, Leah didn't. I spent most of today trying to catch up on what I didn't do yesterday. In addition to getting Jordan back on his schoolwork, I have managed to get the laundry about half done, throw a chicken in the crock pot, and make Jordan some bread. Now all I have to do is fold the laundry, toss Jordan in the bath, and try to relax a little before bedtime.

I'm working with Jordan on learning some ABC Bible verses from the ABEKA curriculum we use. These cards are typically for kids in kindergarten but we are never too old to work on learning God's word. We learn one verse at a time then go on to the next one. By the end of the year we will have learned 26 verses. I would love to find some way to do this type of thing every year. How cool would it be to learn 26 verses every year!
