Today's blog is all about Leah. We went to get her written test and driver's permit today. Good news-she passed the test. Bad news-we had a birth certificate but it was city issued not county or state issued so we have to order one before the permit can be issued. We did that when we got home this afternoon. I was kind of bummed about the whole process because Mark and I both have to go and sign some paperwork if she is going to drive with both of us. So now we wait on the birth certificate, and then Mark can take another afternoon off so we can go sit and wait for our turn. If we don't get back in within 30 days with the appropriate paperwork she will have to re-take the test (which wasn't long, but I would hate to have her have to re-take it).
Ok let's face it-Mom is so not cool when it comes to fashion choices. I know she didn't agree with my input but this evening she left the house with: sunglasses to keep her hair pulled back, a new coat she got for camp, and a pair of flip-flops. I wish I had taken a picture so I could show it to her in a few years.
