It's the end of another weekend here at the Bye household. Our weekend has been filled with the usual stuff: church, grocery shopping, and youth group.
We got our Cooking Light last week and marked out our list of things to try. First we tried the carrot soup because we had everything for that on hand, we put that on our, won't make that again list. It wasn't hideous but we like our other soups that are squash based much better. Tonight we are going to try the Asian noodle-chicken one and while the kids are gone we are going to try the lemon-pepper scampi one (with shrimp-I LOVE shrimp). I'll let you know how we like the recipes later.
I did yoga 3 days last week and am still going ok with it. I'm hoping that this will be the thing that helps me get going with exercise and eventually allows me to branch out a bit into something that burns a few more calories.
Spring is starting to arrive here and the trees are budding. I guess I had better get used to the idea that I will be on allergy meds until summer (RATS!!!). Maybe I can breathe freely again about June (after the cottonwood is done blooming). People said that if I moved out west my allergies should be better-they lied. I just found new things to give my immune system fits. Since living in a plastic bubble is not an option I guess I'd better quit my griping and get on with it.

I would love some healthy recipes. You know grilled chicken can only be enjoyable for so long!
I will try and call the doctor tomorrow for the allergy shot. Sorry its taking so long. Hope everyone is doing good.
