Wednesday's Ramblings

It looks like Leah may be on the mend. I think maybe her fever has broken but I usually wait the customary 24 hours before I send her back just to make sure it is gone for good.

My yoga is going pretty good. I am doing about every other day so that I can give my joints a breather. I'm still not able to do all of the level 1 workout but I am getting better, progress is the key. The thing I have the most trouble with is the push-ups. I guess I'll get there eventually, it's just going to take a while to build up my strength. I'd like to get my knee/ankle joints strong enough to work on some aerobic activities. I've done the treadmill and the ski machine in the past but I usually over do it early and hurt myself and then need to take several weeks off to recover. My muscles want way more than my joints are ready for.

Speaking of diet/exercise: I talked to my sister Barb yesterday. I'm so proud of her! She has started doing Weight Watchers Online and has started going to the gym. She has already lost some 14 pounds in just a couple of months. She says that already she looks and feels much better. Way to go Barb!!

We started Jordan's sixth grade Science a week or so ago, gee-whiz is it detailed! We'll get through it all but it may take some adjustments in the teaching/reviewing process. I'm glad I started homeschooling him when I did so I can learn right along with him.
