Running here, running there, running-running everywhere! Now the craziness of summer really hits. I've got both kids scheduled for their medical check-ups this week. Leah is first. We need to get her in to get her caught up on immunizations (still not doing any for Jordan). Jordan hasn't had a check-up in several years so I wanted to get him switched over to the new doctor's office. He's hardly ever sick so it's just to have some one to write down as a primary care doctor. You never know when you're going to need someone on hand (like Leah's broken arm last year). We went and got Leah's retainer today. She'll have to wear it 4 months all the time, then just a night. Jordan's wisdom teeth are on Tuesday next week. Need to get eye appointments scheduled for everyone.
I'm having a heck of a time with my allergies. It seems like the meds are making my heart beat irregular so I'm going off those and see if it doesn't clear up. If not, I'll be back into the doctor (I'd rather not, but I don't want to be stupid either). So, I'm trying the nasal rinses again, hopefully the blasted cottonwood will clear up soon. Still dealing with the nausea, think that is allergies too but again I don't want to be stupid. I had some blood drawn this week just to make sure nothing else is running around in my system.
Speaking of running...I've built up to being able to walking 2 miles on the treadmill. I'm trying to work up to a goal of a 5K which is 3.1 miles. I don't know that I'll ever do one of those charity walk/run things but I wanted to know that I could if I wanted to.
