This is my time of day to drink a little hot tea and start winding down my day. (It's also the only time of day Mark and I can get in a word without being interrupted. Jordan is constantly chattering these days.)
Things have been pretty quiet here for a few days. We are mostly just doing routine things. I am taking one of my little friends (she's a second grader) to the library tomorrow. I think Jordan and I probably won't pick up too much this time, we have a mountain of things that still need to be read. Maybe I can find a couple of good movies while we are there.
Leah is about to finish up her Switched On school hours for the year. We decided that she is going to try to get as far as she can in her Algebra 1 book (we did something different for the first few months of school but it was too easy for her). I wouldn't be so all fired up about her finishing this book but, if she can finish it and understand the concepts, she can probably go on to something else in the fall. The other thing she needs to work on is driver's ed but there is no looming deadline to get that stuff done (other than the fact I would like her to get in a good amount of drive time before the snow starts to fly).
