Yeah!! Actually it hasn't been a bad week, I'm just glad to have it over and done with. Jordan and I started struggling through more complicated word problems in Math this week. We are reading The BFG which is fun. We finished up units in Science and History this week and will start preparing for tests in those subjects next week (it usually takes us 4-5 days to study).
Leah has had a pretty good week at school. She is settling into her new classes and the expectations from each of the different teachers. Her Physics class (a carry-over from last semester) seems to be going better. That particular period has only 7 students in the class so the teacher spends less time on "crowd control" and more time actually answering questions. This smaller class is good thing for Leah because it is her most challenging subject.
We've decided to look into a re-fi for the house. To do that, we need to get the master bath remodel underway. I guess this means we are going shopping this weekend for a few items. The end goal on this thing is to eventually put in a 5 foot shower (instead of the tiny little cubical that was there previously). It will be a nice little upgrade to the house. I'll be glad when it is all done and we have 2 bathrooms again.
