Knitting

I think this summer I am going to try something new, I want to learn to knit. When I was younger, I used to crochet, something my Grandma Tucker taught me. I just feel like I want to learn something new and keep those brain cells firing. My goals may be kind of modest but I want to be able to knit scarves, hats, mittens, and maybe baby blankets (for when I have grand kids someday....way out there). First I need to figure out what I need. I picked up a book for kids on learning to knit at the library. I am also planning on poking around on the Internet a little to see what I need and what I can learn there.
