We are going to be on a weather roller coaster for the next few days. It's kind of warm for June(mid to upper 80's). I know that's nothing for my friends and family in the Midwest. Over the weekend we are supposed to be down in the upper 50's low 60's for daytime highs over the weekend. We are going to think we are freezing (especially at night). Who knows, with our nighttime lows being in the 30's we may even see a few flakes. Wouldn't that be something for mid June? Maybe I should bring my basil in tomorrow. Basil DOES NOT like the cold.
Everything else is running ok. Things are busy with Mark between his new responsibilities (added to his old ones) at work and the stuff he does at church. Leah is counting the days till her birthday. I've ordered a present for her birthday and one for Father's day for Mark. Actually they are getting kind of the same thing, a pocket knife. Mark is getting a techie one and Leah wanted one one that took care of some of those little everyday emergencies (something that needs cut, a nail file, a little flashlight, bottle opener, that kind of thing). Jordan is fighting the last days of school tooth and nail. I think he is under the delusion he will get to play computer all day everyday. I am trying to decide how to balance out both of our needs for a break and not letting him "shut off" for the summer. He needs some stimulation to keep performing his best. As for me, I guess I'm feeling a bit wrung out. I guess I'm in need of a break too. I am hoping we have enough money in the account for maybe a dinner date with my hubby on the cheep (we share meals, no one needs that much food anyway).
Beter go and chat with my daughter a bit.
