Jordan's newest funny: He noticed the pollen on the ground that had washed out of the air and Mark mentioned what it was and that it was some of the stuff that made mommy sick. That lead into a conversation about allergies and what we were allergic to. A few minutes later Jordan started giggling and announced that, "Mommy is allergic to sky-scrapers." I've been having vertigo issues because of the allergies (and am not that good with heights on the best day) but in Jordan's way of logic it all makes perfect sense.
Some good news, after looking over our phone bill for last month and this month we noticed what part of the issue was with the phone bill. When we renewed our contract 2 years ago we negotiated for an extra 200 minutes to stay with the company (we had been on a 900 minute plan before all of the companies went to 700 minutes as their base). So, we thought we had 700+200 BEFORE we went into our roll-over minutes. Well I guess the thing was that the extra 200 dropped off after a year. We hadn't gone over because we had plenty of roll-over minutes all of this time. Apparently we've used them all up so 700 minutes just isn't cutting it. When Mark called to ask about this they agreed to drop ALL of the overage charges for this month and last month if we agreed to up our plan (no new contract required) to 1400 minutes which we were happy to do! Twenty extra dollars looks a whole lot better than the whopper bill we had last month (that was after the sattelite company had charged us for 6 movies or so that we didn't buy....phone call took care of that too). Lesson here, CHECK YOUR STATEMENTS to make sure they are right. It looks like for the future we are going to need the bigger plan anyway with Mark getting more work calls and Leah talking to friends on occasion. We are looking at the different companies again. It looks like one of the perks several companies are offering now is a "calling circle" plan where you aren't charged extra for a limited number of phone numbers outside your network.
Leah news-I think she is going to wait to get her driver's license till her braces come off. She wants her picture to be braces-free since she is going to have that license till she is 21. I guess a few more weeks of practice won't hurt anybody. She's still needs to work a little bit on parking anyway. I wonder if they still make you parallel park for your test, we haven't done that yet.

Leah could always hope to have one of them test cars that will parallel park for you. I don't think I would like that, what if it got a short and went all hay-wire and crashed you into a car. We just recently switched cell phones companies. We had Verizon and I had a phone for me, Shana, and Shanas mom Kathleen. She is hearing impaired and I got her a phone a couple of years ago so they could text each other. I was paying about $115 a month and Syringa offers the same plan with a few less minutes but we don't use much for about $75 a month with tax included.
