It's finally started raining this afternoon. We need is so bad, it has been so dry here since sometime in August. Thankfully it is one of those nice slow rain-showers that should soak into the ground a bit.
I'm struggling this week to get school stuff done. I've either got massive allergy-eye or a developing case of pink-eye. I'm going to see our eye doctor tomorrow afteroon and get it checked out. My eye is itching like CRAZY although it doesn't appear to be overly red or swollen yet. Back to the subject of school, it is making reading a little harder to do, and we do a lot of reading.
No news yet on the job front for Leah. She has applied a few places but hasn't heard anything back or anything about an interview yet. I suggested that she pop into a couple of her favorite places and see if they had any idea of when they would be interviewing. Surely people will be hiring Christmas help soon. I told her that someone, somewhere, would give her a chance. It's so hard to be patient when you are looking for that first job. We're praying that the right one will come along (Target is the first choice at the moment) that will work into her church activites and school shcedule nicely. She'd like to get on someplace that she could stay until she went off to her 4 year college.
